Animals in our lives

Hi everyone how was your holiday? Where did you go or were you here !!! anyway lets come to our subject- today. I'd like to talk a bit of animals and their effects on our lives. What do animals symbolize for you? For example a dog symbolizes loyalty where as a lion is the symbol of courage..... What is the importance of animals in your lives, do you have pets?

India :)

Hi everyone how are you how was your finals, I hope they were fine. Today I would like to share some information about India. Mostly when people hear the word India they think of a place which is dirty and they think of Taj Mahal. India is a lot more than that!!

It's located in South Asia, and the 7th largest country in the world. Capital city is New Delhi and the largest is Mumbai. The official lanuages are English and Hindi.

The Taj Mahal in Agra was built by Shah Jahan as memorial to wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site considered to be of "outstanding universal value".

So I really don't want to write too many things about India and make you bored :)

What do you think about India, have you been there, do you want to , or is it just a country that you wouldn't consider visiting for a long time..

How's your finals going!!! I just like to say do not get scared of the exams. It's what you already know ofcourse if you read and practice them you will remember the ones we learned in october/november. Read the questions , be careful and work hard - 3 more days :)

Rovaniemi :)

Hi bloggers how was your holiday, mine was perfect!! I went to LAPLAND- one of the best
places I've visited! It's in the Arctic Circle. Unfortunately there is sun for 4.5 hours- rises at 10 am and sets at 2.30 pm. After 3 o'clock it's like 9 pm in İstanbul, but the local people has decorated Rovaniemi and Lapland all around with Christmas lights.That's why it's not disturbing, but ofcourse you feel like it's night. We met some Turkish people and they told us that the normal wheather in Rovaniemi at this time of the year should be -35 or less , but because of the global warming the least temperature was -8 ( while we were there.) . We went to both husky and reindeer farms and had a 2 minute rides in the sledges that they pull. We also had a 2 hour tour with snowmobiles and it was one of the best things we've done! Thursday we went to Ranoua Zoo and saw 3 polar bears, as you can imagine the brown bear was sleeping! 2 of the polar bears were babies. In addition long years ago the Finnish taught that Santa Claus must be from Rovaniemi because he rides in riendeers, so they decided to make a village for him, "Santa Claus Village". There is a post office there and nearly all the children visiting the village posts a card and takes a picture of Father Christmas. They believe in him. Anyway to conclude it was a lovely trip and I advice you to go there at least once :)

You & Colours

How are you, how was your exams. I'm sorry I coudn't post anything recently but I'm back now :) This week our topic is colours!! I'd like to know which colour is your colour, the coulour that represents you most- not your best colour. I believe that each colour represents a character.

About colours;

yellow: It represents sun and light. It makes you feel confident.It helps you to be broad minded.

red: It's an alive and active colour and gives excitement.

green:It's a fresh colour and cools the person.

blue:It gives ease to the person. It has a reposeful effect.

orange:It has a showy effect.

white: It represents; innocence and purity.

black:This clolour symbolises loneliness and gives seriousness. It makes the person remember his/her problems.

gray:It represents humbleness.

brown:It represents; seriousness, endurance and regularity.

So, which colours do you wear usually, and which one do you like more??
